Become a Member of Lodge #389

The Order is a non-political, non-sectarian and strictly American fraternity. Proposal for membership is only by invitation of a member in good standing. To be accepted, one must be an American citizen, believe in God, be of good moral character and be at least 21 years old.

Express Interest

Fill out the inquiry form below or speak with a current member who can sponsor you.

Application & Sponsorship

Complete the formal application with two sponsors who are current Elks members in good standing.

Initiation

Attend the initiation ceremony — a meaningful ritual centered on Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity.

Get Involved!

Join a committee, attend meetings, and start making a difference in your community right away.

Requirements

Who Can Join?

🇺🇸 American Citizen — Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
✍️ Belief in God — Must believe in God as a condition of membership.
Good Moral Character — Must be of good moral character as reviewed by the lodge.
🎉 At Least 21 Years Old — Must be 21 years of age or older at time of application.
🤝 Sponsored by a Member — Proposal for membership is only by invitation of a member in good standing.
