Renwick William Megahan, "Renny", 79, of Zion Crossroads, Virginia and Naples, Florida passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family and our nurses, William and Linda on Sunday, June 14, 2015. He was born on May 2, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Howard Dougan and Margaret Wylie Megahan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Ann Dickinson.

Renny is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol San Marco Megahan, and their children, Kim Durazo and her husband, Mike, of Northern, Virginia, Scott Megahan and his wife, Caroline, of Troy, Virginia, and Renny Megahan and his wife, Gail, of Ivy, Virginia. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Esther Rath and her husband, Gene, of Richmond, Virginia and their family; as well as his grandchildren, Andrew, Alec, Bryan, Danny, Sean, Eric, Wylie, Ian and Carter. And last, their loyal and devoted Labrador, Cody.

Following graduation from Wilkinsonburg High School, Renny served his country in the United States Army before attending Virginia Tech. After his service and collegiate years, Renny and Carol established their locksmith company, Albemarle Lock and Safe in 1973 from which they later retired at age 70. Renny was a Lifetime Member of the Associated Locksmiths of America and a member of the Elks Club. He and Carol travelled extensively and enjoyed many grand adventures in far away places.

In Renny's own style, a graveside service and celebration will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Monticello Memory Gardens.
